Time for Tea?

Hello!
 This 2012 my ChIcKs and I have accepted a gracious invitation to A Fanciful Twist Mad Tea Party!
We look forward to joining her guests, as this will be our first year attending.
Away, away, away we go following the rabbit down this mysterious hole to discover and share in this magical scheme and have a Mad Tea Party with cakes and sweet things. Hippty Hop we shall dance and sing, carrying on with our fabulous blings.  So come on, let's go to this magical affair to join Miss Vanessa her Mr. Mad Hatter to see who will be there! Goodbye Dear Summer!

 

Is Summer over?
It is time to say goodbye!
I do prefer wearing my shorts, summer shirts and flops, but really! It is just way too hot!
Bring on the Fall! Please!
Time for my summer guests to go home. Ya think?

What Is It?

Looking at this leaf (heart?) this morning, I had to ask myself what would someone else see?
Am I seeing it for what it truly is? Is there something more?
I would like to believe, it's a message in a bottle , heaven sent.
Others might say coincidence.
Do you get signs in life?
Do you you see something more?

Me and My Gal

Yup,  kids are back to school today and its back to me and my Gal.
 I hate to think that summer fun is over and the house will be a bit quieter. Well, that is unless someone comes to the door and my gal gets a little huffy. We keep each other company and she is usually a good listener! We like the same foods! Go figure, any time I go for something to eat, she is like, "me too!"  My Gal, Trixie, will follow me anywhere just like my shadow. We both love to meander about outside and then return inside to cool off. As the day wears on and its time for our house inhabitants to return home we both get a bit excited to greet them, once they enter. Yes, my Gal pal is my best bud and we are ok with each others imperfections. I wonder if she knows I would be lost without her?  My little secret!  Tee hee hee!
  I'm back, fluttering again!

Goodbye 2010!
Very soon, we shall say goodbye and hello all in one with cheers of a loud professed "Happy New Year!
The past and present join but for a brief and I do mean brief moment in time. This thought just amazes me and seems so awesome! The thought of the old and the new, greeting like a hand shake. Time upon time,  year after year, life and death. I want to wish everyone happiness and good health!  Mostly, I pray for our world, that we may enter into this next year with honest attempts to become, a more peaceful, caring and  co-existent with  this borrowed time here on planet earth,  we all call home.
Just a thought,  while I flutter by into the New Year.

Another day goes by and where did the time go?
Did I bake, shop, decorate and bring some cheer?
I sprinkled more butterflies on my tree!
Feeling as though there's sooo much more I want to do!
Friends and family to see, but too far away.
I will close my eyes and dream!
Tomorrow, I shall start again.
I will flutter about as quick as can be.
Christmas will greet me soon.
I do wish to be ready!
