Glitter and a Movie presents Steel Magnolias

Steel Magnolias and Mothers Day!

Well, I finally got the picture I wanted to present for my entry into the Glitter and a Movie featuring Steel Magnolias. I never realized how difficult it could be to photograph the subject. I want to thank my wonderful daughter who helped me to get the best antique look I had envisioned in my mind. WE DID IT! PHEW!!!
My latest fetish is collecting empty jars, such as this Jelly jar above. It has these lovely lines up and down it which captivated me to create with it!

I want to shout out to all the moms out in bloggy land! "Happy Mothers Day!"
I'm Counting my 3 blessings and enjoying the weekend with all 3 at home this weekend! I HOPE you enjoy All your BLESSINGS!!! ; )

  1. Oh my, Kelly, this is so special, not quite as special as you, but very special indeed. ;) It's gorgeous, my friend. I just noticed that you had shared the link and it was like a Mother's Day gift. Thank you so much for participating.
By the way, I LOVE jars too. Got rid of a lot when we moved but as soon as we settle in our new home this summer when we move again, it's jars galore again. ;)
    Happy Mother's Day!
    MUAH!
    Blessings.

  6. Hello lovely Kelly, how are you? I am headed for the post office to mail a couple of Glitterbug party favors, but I never heard back from you via email with the request for your forward info. I know you sent it a while back, but I cannot find it. Would you be a dear and email it to me again?
    Thank you so much.
    Have a beautiful Tuesday.

  7. Thank you, Kelly, for the visit!
It seems I'm always spread thin these days, so my visits, posts and creativity haven't been as prolific as I'd like :)

It is refreshing to have the party over and done with, though. Maggie had a wonderful day.....and that always makes it worthwhile!

That is such a pretty jar! I can see why you wanted to keep it.
And what you created is simply lovely!

Hope you are having a lovely week, so far!
    Hugs,
    Cameron

  8. Sweet papillon! (Butterfly!)

How lovely of you to flutter on over to my post! And by way of my dear friend, Marcia's glitter and a movie event! How fun it is to be connected to one another is some capacity, whether it's a trip to France or a movie....be well, enjoy and many hugs! Anita
